richie no longer a Prospect
Just weeks after it was announced Danny "mahone" Hsieh had stepped down from Prospects due to personal and scheduling issues, the MDL team has also seen Richard "richie" Wong elect to leave the team as well.
The Canadian player is a close acquaintance of fellow Canadian and former teammate mahone, who had recently departed Prospects and retired from playing competitively.
According to what Dust2.us has learned, richie lost motivation to continue playing with the team due to mahone choosing to quit playing competitively because of his real life commitments. With a close friend off the team and retiring from the game, richie ultimately chose to depart Prospects.
Prospects have yet to decide a fifth player to round out the roster for the next week of play. Until a permanent fifth is chosen by the players, Prospects' roster is currently:
- Craigh "hero" HoSui
- Josh "JoshRT" Lee
- Brian "vberg" Rank
- Blake "Strings" Stringer
Prospects are currently undergoing a rough season in MDL, sitting just shy of last place in 23rd with a 2-8 record. Of the ten games they've played so far in the season, one of them was a 16-0 loss to Gorilla Gang, which is the only 16-0 game in NA MDL so far.
Later this week, the team will take on Forty Six and 2, who are just below them in last place, and The Pioneers in the 6th week of the MDL regular season.
