SHOOWTiME over as Luminosity sign HEN1 and LUCAS1
After a 7-8th finish at the ECS S5 Finals, Luminosity has made swift changes to its active lineup, bringing in the Henrique "HEN1" Teles and Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles. Originally, Luminosity's press release stated the brothers were acquired from SK Gaming, however this was later redacted and an addendum was added, claiming the addition was "not [their] intended meaning."

To make room for the new duo, Vinicios "PKL" Coelho and Gustavo "SHOOWTiME" Gonçalves have been benched by Luminosity. PKL and SHOOWTiME were both originally long-standing members of the Luminosity core, having joined late 2016.
Joining Luminosity, the brothers will reunite with Lucas “steel” Lopes, who they had formerly played with during their tenures with Immortals.

The Teles brothers were originally a part of the Immortals squad before being benched in September 2017 due to internal disagreements with Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe being released by the organization. Later acquired and subsequently released by 100 Thieves, the brothers joined Não Tem Como, which was formed by the former Immortals and 100 Thieves roster, and later left the roster in March 2018.
With the addition of the brothers, Luminosity’s roster is now:
- Gustavo "yeL" Knittel
- Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato
- Lucas "steel" Lopes
- Henrique "HEN1" Teles
- Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles
- Rafael "zakk" Fernandes (Coach)
Luminosity has also announced that the team will begin bootcamping in Katowice with the new roster additions. The team will premier at DreamHack Open Valencia, where the former roster qualified for in the North American qualifier.
