Swole Patrol picks up a LILMAN
24-year-old Derrick "LILMAN" Boyne has returned from (a very short) retirement to join Swole Patrol, replacing the recently vacated slot of Ryan "ryan" Welsh.
LILMAN's return to professional play comes after one and a half months in retirement. He retired shortly after the subtLe roster disbanded at the conclusion of Season 27, although a concrete reason was never given at the time.
In an effort to improve their results following a lackluster run at ESEA's Season 27 Global Challenge, Swole Patrol looks to LILMAN to fill ryan's shoes, and then some. If the team hopes to succeed this season and in the upcoming EPL Promotion season, LILMAN will have to prove his mouse hasn't gotten rusty since the end of March.
LILMAN's return also reunites him with Samuel "SileNt" Portillo, who he has played alongside on multiple rosters throughout the years. The two last played on Muffin Lightning during MDL Season 26, although the majority of the duo's time together was on Rush for EPL Season 5 and prior seasons of MDL.
Swole Patrol's squad is now:
- Ryan "fREAKAZOiD" Abadir
- Samuel "SileNt" Portillo
- Austin "Cooper-" Abadir
- Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro
- Derrick "LILMAN" Boyne
The team is set to make their debut in Season 28 of MDL against OCEAN's new subtLe lineup and the BlackOut roster in two weeks.
