compLexity forfeit remainder of ECS season
Citing scheduling conflicts with the upcoming ESL Pro League relegation tournament, compLexity have announced that they are to be forfeiting the remainder of the ECS season.
compLexity's performances during the season hadn't been too great, holding a 3-11 record in the 9th place relegation spot of the league. All of compLexity's remaining games had been scheduled over the final week of them being in Leicester, UK.
The team's remaining matches were to be against SK and eUnited. By forfeitting, compLexity have strengthened both team's chances of LAN qualification, seeing the Brazilians rise to fourth and eUnited to third in the table, before the final games have taken place.
The team have also changed their roster as of recently, picking up Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan and Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz. Due to ECS roster rules, they could only play one of the two players for the remainder of the league.
With the league finishing this week, there was no negotiatable room to reschedule the matches. This decision confirms compLexity will have to requalify for ECS Season 6, though the exact format of this qualification is yet to be announced.
