MAiNLiNE hops off the Ghost train
Ghost are a side in a fair bit of turmoil as of recent, and that continues with the news that coach Michael "MAiNLiNE" Jaber is the latest member of the team given his marching orders.
A now-deleted Tweet from the player seemingly indicated that the split did not come on great terms:
The American joined the team at the start of the year, just after the team secured re-qualification to the ESL Pro League after winning through the relegation tournament. With the team only finishing one point above another potential visit to the tournament, it appears that the team are not confident in MAiNLiNE's ability to continue the roster's development.
MAiNLiNE was removed from the Ghost ESEA page at the same time as Tramaine "stan1ey" Stanley at the start of the month. Replacements for either of them are still up in the air, with further potential stability issues for the team still on the horizon, with Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik and Andy "vSa" Xu's names being omitted from the starting line-up list on the team's ESEA bio.
Also recently added to the roster is Mexican Edgar "MarkE" Jiminez, who was seen standing in for the team during the recent DreamHack Open Summer Qualifier.
The Ghost roster is now as follows:
- Sebastian "seb" Bucki
- Matthew "Wardell" Bowman
- Yassine "Subroza" Taoufik
- Andy "vSa" Xu
