sapphiRe joins the Dignitas roster as a substitute
Dignitas captain Matthew "mCe" Elmore took to Twitter yesterday and publicly announced that the organization would be moving Heather "sapphiRe" Garozzo to their sixth position as a substitute on the competing roster.
While sapphiRe still maintains her position in the organization as Marketing Director, she will also now be filling in as their fifth player from time to time as needed. She brings with her a wealth of Counter-Strike experience and knowledge that the young players may yet learn from, as she has been a professional player herself since the birth of the game.
sapphiRe has worn many hats throughout her career in the Counter-Strike community, ranging from player, to staff, to even journalist and has been heralded by many as one of the best observers to grace several top level professional broadcasts.
With these adjustments, the Dignitas roster is as follows:
- Logan "Voltage" Long
- Michael "Grim" Wince
- Jack "xCeeD" Holiman
- Matthew "mCe" Elmore
- Mitch "mitch" Semago
- Heather "sapphiRe" Garozzo (Substitute)
It's currently expected that Josh "shinobi" Abastado will soon join forces with the Dignitas roster as their coach, but has yet to be announced by the organization. shinobi was last seen playing with Rogue before his sudden removal after barely surviving EPL Relegation.
Dignitas is currently competing in their first season of ESL Pro League after being promoted in light of their MDL Season 26 Finals victory.
