virtus completes CheckSix roster
Daniel "virtus" Carrillo announced yesterday via Twitter that he would be the new fifth to round out the CheckSix roster for the upcoming ESEA MDL Season 27:
virtus' past teams include SKDC, Leader-1, Noble, and the eventual Pro League side Rush. His addition to the team reunites him with former Leader-1 teammates Josh "joshbM" Blier and Corey "flashstep" Parks. Together, the trio qualified for the first Americas Minor for MLG Columbus, where they were knocked out by Splyce.
This news comes shortly after flashstep announced his move from player to coach within the team, due to unreliable internet and a drive to venture into a more sustainable role in esports.
When contacted by Dust2.us, flashstep explained that virtus will take on the main AWP duties for the team, while Jacob "L0NER" Webster will rifle and be the secondary AWP when the situation calls for it.
With this change the CheckSix roster is as follows:
- Josh "joshbM" Blier
- Jacob "L0NER" Webster
- Andy "LenNox" Collins
- Nassir "rugrat" Francique
- Daniel "virtus" Carrillo
- Corey "flashstep" Parks (Coach)
