M80 fall to FaZe
After Complexity lost to Liquid, M80 would have the tough burden of getting a win against FaZe to cheer the North American fans up. Unfortunately, the European squad came out the gates swinging and M80 couldn't stop them on Ancient.
The map was off to a bad start for M80, as FaZe would win the first five with no reply from the NA squad. Despite that, M80 got some rounds back, having a 4-3 run to end the half with an 8-4 deficit before going into the T-side of Ancient. The German duo of M80 ended the half with 9 kills each.
The second half began with two round wins for NA, but that would be it. FaZe got right back on the board to go on a five-round winning streak to win the map 13-6 and advance to the Qualification series, sending M80 to the Elimination series.
M80 will face the loser of the Virtus.pro v. HEROIC series in a do or die series tomorrow at 01:00PM. Virtus.pro and HEROIC are scheduled to face each other at 05:20PM.
