Polar Ace replace agM with Swahn, RZU joins Prospects
Another week of MDL has come and gone, and with it a trio of changes affecting Prospects, Polar Ace, and Chris and the boys.
Starting off with Prospects, the team have elected to replace Paul "n2g" Lao on the starting lineup with former Bad News Bears stand-in Jeff "RZU" Ngo.
During n2g's sole outing with the team, Prospects lost 16-7 to oNe, and the team currently sit in last place in MDL with a 1-6 record.
With the addition of RZU, Prospects is now:
- Josh "JoshRT" Lee
- Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce
- Marshall "Minus" Sedowicz
- Derek "desi" Branchen
- Jeff "RZU" Ngo
- Warren "hades" Rettich (Coach)
- Paul "n2g" Lao (Inactive)
Next up is Polar Ace, who have replaced Michael "agM" Abood with Christopher "Swahn" Swahn. Dust2.us has been told by both sides that the player and the team are splitting on amicable terms, and agM will be playing his last match with Polar Ace on June 2nd against New Identity, after which he will enter free agency.
Polar Ace currently sit in the middle of the MDL standings with a 3-5 record.
Polar Ace's roster is now:
- Daniel "picky" Milazzo
- Jonah "JonahP" Pulice
- William "shonk" Kittrell
- Trevor "FrostayK" Bandle
- Christopher "Swahn" Swahn
- Wellis "welly" Dean (Coach)
Finally, after losing Jake "kaboose" McDonald on Tuesday, Chris and the boys’ roster has continued to disintegrate, with Swahn joining Polar Ace as previously mentioned, and now Rich "Rich" Sylvestri also deciding to leave the team.
With the loss of Swahn and Rich, Chris and the boys is now:
- William "will" Cheng
- Chase "mcs" Sullivan
- Mark "markalodon" Rose (Coach)
It is unknown if the remaining players will rebuild the roster to finish the season, though Mikey "SkrubWrecker" Moore and Swedish coach/content creator "Mango" have since joined the roster and paid their league fees. SkrubWrecker has been playing for Chris and the boys recently as a stand-in, while the addition of Mango is more interesting as his only MDL experience was as a trial coach for Australian team Athletico during Season 30.
