curry will be taking a break from CS

curry steps down from Front

Another team off to a dismal start in MDL has made a change.

Yesterday Front's Jason "jmoh" Mohandeesi announced that he and his team were looking for a player to join them in MDL and "turn this season around." A follow-up tweet revealed that it is Rahul "curry" Nemani who will be "taking a break" from the game.

The change marks the second for the team in their inaugural MDL season, with the first coming when they parted ways with Chris "Slash" Peterson. The team brought Jonathan "djay" Dallal on board to replace him, although results since the addition have been lackluster with Front currently sitting at the bottom of the MDL standings and an overall 2-3 record in WINNERS League.

A tweet by Amgalan "genghsta" Nemekhbayar also clarified that the team had not chosen to remove curry, and that it was solely the player's decision to step down.

As of now, Front's roster is:

  • Canada Adam "Ange" Milian
  • United States Jason "jmoh" Mohandessi
  • United States Amgalan "genghsta" Nemekhbayar
  • Canada Jonathan "djay" Dallal
  • Canada Cameron "Skelly" Thomson (Coach)

With no permanent fifth decided on, the team were forced to field coach and former teammate Cameron "Skelly" Thomson last night. Results with the modified lineup were mixed, as the team notched a win against Mythic in WINNERS League, but followed it up by receiving a battering from Singularity in MDL.

When contacted by Dust2.us, curry shared the following:

I really have to focus on other things in life right now over csgo. Still don’t know if I will return.

I’ve lost a lot of motivation after demoting myself from FPL earlier this year and I will always regret that decision for the rest of my life.
