Could this be EliGE's opportunity to win some trophies after a five-year drought?

Media: FaZe close in on EliGE acquisition

EliGE's European move is reportedly getting closer by the day.

According to reports by HLTV and Guillaume "neL" Rathier, FaZe are in advanced discussions to acquire Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski from Complexity, seeing the American superstar make the jump to the European scene while joining one of the best teams in the world. EliGE's reported move to FaZe comes after weeks of speculation and innuendo about the player's future, with EliGE and Complexity owner Jason Lake providing less than subtle hints EliGE's future would be with a top European lineup.

EliGE's move to FaZe would see him replace Robin "ropz" Kool on the starting lineup as the Estonian is linked to a move to Vitality where he will be replacing Lotan "Spinx" Giladi on the international lineup.

According to the report, G2 also expressed interest in acquiring EliGE, however their efforts were foiled leading the organization to turn their attention to Israeli Cloud9 player Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko.

Should FaZe close on EliGE, their roster heading into 2025 would consist of:

  • Håvard "rain" Nygaard

  • Helvijs "broky" Saukants

  • Denmark Finn "karrigan" Andersen

  • David "frozen" Čerňanský

  • United States Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski

  • Filip "NEO" Kubski (Coach)
