This is how you can play like donk

donk and other 39 pros reveal their advanced video settings

Knowing this won't turn you into donk, but maybe you'll get some placebo.

Forty CS2 pros have shared their advanced video settings with content creator Thour. The list, which was made available on February 3rd, includes the video settings of Major winners Danil "donk" Kryshkovets, Justinas "jL" Lekavičius, and Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov.

Based on the data Thour got, the most common advanced video settings among pros are:

  • Current Video Values Preset: Custom

  • Multisampling Anti-Aliasing Mode: 8x MSAA

  • Global Shadow Quality: High

  • Dynamic Shadows: All

  • Model / Texture Detail: Low

  • Texture Filtering Mode: Bilinear

  • Shader Detail: Low

  • Particle Detail: Low

  • Ambient Occlusion: Disabled

  • High Dynamic Range: Quality

  • FidelityFX Super Resolution: Disabled

The data also shows that 70% of pros use the Boost Player Contrast setting and 60% have NVIDIA Reflex enabled. Thour also revealed that 75% are playing CS2 on 1279x960 resolution.

While playing with the same video settings as donk, jL, and co. won't turn you into a pro player, it's worth checking them just to make sure your game is as optimized as it should be.
