OCEAN retires from CS:GO to coach Pittsburgh Knights VALORANT
Kyle "OCEAN" O'Brien has left SKDC and retired from CS:GO to join Pittsburgh Knight's VALORANT team as their head coach. As a result, he reunites with Terry "dsr" Rioux, with the duo having played together for around a year on Kaliber and subtLe.
OCEAN's departure from CS:GO marks the end of a nearly eleven-year-long playing career for the 33-year old Canadian IGL. While OCEAN never rose to be a top player in the region, his legacy can be measured by a number of star players he helped bring up, including Jake "Stewie2K" Yip, Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski and Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken.
Looking at the team he has left behind, SKDC have been utilizing Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen as a stand-in, with the team picking up its first win yesterday in ESEA Premier Season 36 over Watch This. Dust2.us has confirmed with the team they will be using SEMPHIS for the remainder of the season and for Relegation.
The two teams are now:
SKDC | Pittsburgh Knights |

SKDC currently have a 2-5 record in ESEA Premier Season 36. Their final matches of the season will be against Mythic on March 9th and Oceanus on March 17th.
