Report: Cloud9 look to shinobi to further bolster VALORANT roster
Dust2.us has learned from sources close to the Cloud9 VALORANT project that the organization are looking at Josh "shinobi" Abastado as the next addition to their lineup. This follows our earlier report that Cloud9 are also set to add Nathan "leaf" Orf and Gage "Infinite" Green to the team.
shinobi last played for Monstars, leaving the team at the end of April, with the player telling Dust2.us that he wanted to focus on VALORANT moving forward.
shinobi is a long-time member of North American CS:GO scene, having played for a number of organizations including compLexity, eUnited, and Rogue. During his time on Bad News Bears, he played with current Cloud9 VALORANT member Tyson "TenZ" Ngo. He has also worked with Infinite in the past, coaching him during his three-month tenure with Dignitas.
With the addition of shinobi, leaf, and Infinite, Cloud9's VALORANT roster should look as follows:
- Tyson "TenZ" Ngo
- Nathan "leaf" Orf
- Gage "Infinite" Green
- Josh "shinobi" Abastado
Dust2.us reached out to shinobi who declined to comment.
