PGL Bucharest NA Open Qualifiers conclude

The PGL Bucharest North America Open Qualifiers finished on February 23rd after the fourth Open Qualifier was played.

This final Open Qualifier saw Take Flyte, Rolling Stone, Akimbo, and MIGHT advance to the Closed Qualifier, which will run from March 4th to 9th and the winner will qualify for PGL Bucharest in April.

Take Flyte won the Open Qualifier #4 after besting Luigi's Mansion, MF, F4, Vireo.pro, and Rolling Stone. There's an ongoing concern regarding Rolling Stone's legitimacy as the Steam account of one of their players, n1legG, was created on February 17th, has no matches recorded on HLTV, and just eight matches played on FACEIT.

Of all notable teams that did not make the Closed Qualifier, Vireo.pro will certainly feel it more. They finished 5th-8th in the third and fourth Open Qualifier, bottling two great opportunities.

With the conclusion of the Open Qualifier #4, these are all the teams through the PGL Bucharest NA Closed Qualifier:

These 17 teams will be joined by 15 teams who will receive an invite based on the Americas Valve Regional Standings (VRS) on March 2nd.

The 32 teams will be distributed in four groups of eight and play through the double-elimination group stage. Only the group winners will advance to the playoffs, which will feature a single-elimination bracket and a best-of-five grand final. All the other matches will be best-of-three series.
