ELEAGUE Boston Major champion among the most visited CS pros on Liquipedia in 2024
Liquipedia announced the most visited Counter-Strike players on its platform across 2024, and surprisingly Jake "Stewie2K" Yip was the fifth on the list. The ELEAGUE Boston Major champion climbed 10 positions on Liquipedia's ranking in comparison to 2023, likely due to him helping G2 win IEM Dallas 2024 as an emergency stand-in.
The only players who were more popular than Stewie2K on Liquipedia last year were Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov, Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev, and Danil "donk" Kryshkovets.
The list also features the former M80 star Mario "malbsMd" Samayoa. The Guatemalan almost made it to the top 10, placing 11th instead. The only other NA talent on this ranking was Liquid's IGL Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken, who was the 14th most visited pro.
Curiously enough, the French superstar Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was only the 10th most visited pro, leading analyst Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg to make his classic pun about ZywOo's supposed lack of cultural impact.
