One bad decision after another

Krad faces extended month-long ban for lying about offensive Deagle craft

Questionable decision making has led to a further punishment for Krad.

Russian pro Vladislav "Krad" Kravchenko revealed on Telegram today that his two-week ban from ESL events has been extended to a whole month due to new evidence regarding an offensive sticker combination the player used in an official match two days ago.

Essentially the point of consternation for ESL appears to be that Krad lied about not knowing the stickers on the Desert Eagle spelled the "n-word", something he publicly repeated after being issued with a two-week ban. Per stream clips released by @picklepissiere on X, Krad can be seen using the Desert Eagle with the "n-word" sticker craft prior to AMKAL's official match against Monte, laughing about wanting to use it with the right-hand player model. He also says he does not understand why he would be banned for saying the "n-word" on stream while further complementing the skin.

The now-public clip seemingly demonstrates that Krad had advanced knowledge of the word on his gun while also comprehending that some may find it offensive. As such, while ESL's ban was initially concerned with the use of the offensive craft on their broadcast, Krad's new ban is likely tied to him intentionally misleading ESL and the public about the craft.

With the player now facing a month away from EFG events, the AMKAL organization will likely be unhappy with the 26-year-old player making the situation worse for himself at every turn in this embarrassing saga.
