Missing the RMR has set off major changes in Legacy's ranks

Legacy bench NEKIZ in further roster shakeup

The experienced IGL has been shown the door at Legacy.

In a further shakeup of their roster, Legacy have announced the benching of IGL Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato, seeing the 29-year old captain exit the squad after 15 months. NEKIZ's departure from Legacy's starting lineup comes after the organization also benched Bruno "b4rtiN" Câmara in late November, with the moves following the team's 1-3 exit from the Perfect World Shanghai Americas RMR back in November.

During NEKIZ's time with Legacy, the former paiN player helped the squad to qualify to the PGL Copenhagen Major 2024 in March and notch a number of online results in North America over the course of 2024. However, the team's recent failure at the Shanghai Americas RMR put a damper on the team's modest results, especially as the Brazilian scene managed to send four other squads to the final Major of 2024.

According to a report by Dust2 Brasil, Legacy have already found NEKIZ and b4rtiN's replacements, with Lucas "lux" Meneghini and Vinicius "n1ssim" Pereira set to join from paiN and Sharks, respectively.

Legacy are now:

  • Brazil Bruno "latto" Rebelatto

  • Brazil Eduardo "dumau" Wolkmer

  • Brazil Guilherme "saadzin" Pacheco

  • Brazil Olavo "chucky" Napoleão (Coach)

  • Brazil Bruno "b4rtiN" Câmara (Inactive)

  • Brazil Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato (Inactive)
