Redacted Society enter CS2 with Tricksters
Redacted Society, a new esports organization founded in May 2024, have entered Counter-Strike 2 with the signing of Tricksters, a lineup built around the core of the former DETONATE roster which represented the organization from October 2023 to June 2024. The signing of the ESEA Advanced team marks Redacted Society's entry in their most full-profile esports title to date, after having experimented with an XDefiant team and a team for a mobile battle royale game called Blood Strike.
The core of this roster had been in free agency since leaving DETONATE in June 2024, replacing Jacob "GibbyATL" Gibby and JD "Toasty" Hill with Hunter "Huntxr" Duron and Nathan "Xirt" Corretjer ahead of ESEA Advanced Season 50. This new lineup struggled in league play, narrowly avoiding relegation down to Main with a 6-8 regular season record. Under Redacted Society they will aim for better results in the final ESEA Advanced season of 2024.
