Report: Complexity set to miss IEM Chengdu 2024

While Complexity are currently in Denmark for the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024, the next stop on their LAN tour has reportedly been nixed. Dust2.us understands from sources close to the team that Complexity are set to miss IEM Chengdu 2024 due to visa issues, leaving North America's #1 team out of the mix at the Intel Grand Slam Season 5 event.

Complexity claimed a spot at IEM Chengdu 2024 via the January 8th ESL World Ranking update, with the invite being earned on the basis of COL being ranked fourth in the world at the time. While the squad have slipped somewhat down the rankings since then, their omission from the event will be a difficult blow to NA fans as it leaves M80 as the sole squad from the region heading out to China.

Dust2.us reached out to Complexity for comment on their attendance at IEM Chengdu 2024, with a representative declining to comment at the time of publication.
