Report: TSM set to debut new roster in CCT Finals
Sources with knowledge of the signing have confirmed to Dust2.us that TSM are set to debut their new roster in the immediate future in the upcoming CCT Online Finals #2, which is set to begin on August 2nd. TSM's invitation to the $200k online event marks the culmination of a lengthy road for TSM to return to Counter-Strike after a six-year hiatus from the title.
TSM's return to the game will see the American organization field an international roster helmed by former Cloud9 player Timofey "interz" Yakushin, former G2 player Audric "JACKZ" Jug, and former Into The Breach player Cai "CYPHER" Watson. These additions were first touted by Guillaume "neL" Rathier of 1pv at the start of July. This trio are joined by former ENCE player Valdemar "valde" Vangså and Romanian youngster Mădălin-Andrei "MoDo" Mirea — first reported by Turkish leaker Draky on July 24th. MoDo joins TSM as the sole rookie to the top level of competitive play, however the Romanian boasts a quite impressive rating in the EU tier-two scene, putting up a 1.09 rating over 231 maps.
Rounding out TSM's roster is respected French coach, Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam, who returns to action after a lengthy hiatus after stepping down from G2 in October 2022. CCT's second online finals event will be an interesting testing ground for TSM as the event is set to feature smaller EU teams alongside Nouns and a number of Brazilian teams that competed in the NA CCT circuit.
