s1mple weighs in on Boombl4 drama, claims he warned ex-teammate
The two-time No.1 ranked player in the world Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev was asked to give his opinion on the ongoing drama surrounding former teammate and in-game leader Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov that ultimately led to his benching. While streaming, he pulled no punches. Twitter user "s1mple clips" provided the clip and translation.
What's up with Boombl4? Nothing, he got involved with a dirty w****! He was told by everyone, 'Kirill don't do this, don't mess with her, she's a w****.' And he either loved her or not, I do not know. I hope that's all, he won't mess with her anymore. We said don't, don't mess with her. Well, I already said a month ago that she would blackmail him later. As always, I was right.
This all comes as a byproduct of the initial accusations toward the former NAVI in-game leader from his ex-wife LiQueen. The former leader was accused by his ex-wife of alleged assault and involvement in drugs. Shortly after the announcement of their separation, his ex-wife published evidence of the player snorting an unknown white substance.
Boombl4 has been the target of a slew of accusations via his ex-wife's Telegram, with the video being the latest and most damning piece in this dramatic saga. Prior to the abrupt fallout with NAVI, Boombl4 helped lead the team to five big-event victories including a Major victory at PGL Stockholm 2021. NAVI has been quick to pivot away from the long-time leader, announcing last week that former Spirit and MAD Lions talent Viktor "sdy" Orudzhev would be standing in to help the team in their peculiar time of need ahead of the BLAST Spring Final coming up in less than a week.
