CS2 hits peak concurrent players, just shy of CSGO's all-time record

A tweet from Ozzny_CS2 on X illustrated that CS2 has picked up where CSGO left off.

In February 2025, CS2 hit a peak concurrent player count of 1,783,434 players. This is just shy of CSGO's peak, 1,802,853 concurrent players.

The Valve FPS has averaged 978,670 concurrent players over the last 30 days, the highest average in the past year. May 2024 came in second, about 20,000 players lower.

While Counter-Strike 2 has had its fair share of issues, this number shows that the game has the potential to be as popular is Global Offensive if not more.
