Triumph replace hate and xCeeD with viz and RZU
Triumph have elected to retool their roster prior to the start of ESEA Premier Season 39, parting ways with Nicholas "hate" Young and Jack "xCeeD" Holiman while adding Wesley "viz" Harris and Jeff "RZU" Ngo.
Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk told Dust2.us that Triumph decided to overhaul the lineup as he believes hate needs more experience while cutting xCeeD allowed the team to bring in viz as IGL. This roster move marks a homecoming for both players as they played for Triumph in ESEA Premier Season 36 and 38, respectively. It also marks a return to the server for the duo as they had previously taken a step away from CS:GO due to personal circumstances.
Despite being mostly inactive, viz and RZU do have some level of match fitness as viz has been ringing for Triumph and Bad News Bears in recent months while RZU helped Triumph finish the season after they added xCeeD after the roster lock.
As such, Triumph head into Season 39 with:
- Brendan "Bwills" Williams
- Jeorge "jeorgesnorts" Endicott
- Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk
- Wesley "viz" Harris
- Jeff "RZU" Ngo
This new Triumph lineup is set to play ESEA Autumn 2021 Cash Cup 3 on October 23rd where they are also set to trial Third Impact coach Calvin "becker" Becker according to cxzi.
