Report: Liquid to allow oSee to explore options
With rumors intensifying about the potential arrival of Casper "cadiaN" Møller to Liquid, Dust2.us understands that Liquid's star AWPer Josh "oSee" Ohm has been allowed to explore his options for his future outside of the organization. While nothing is certain at this time, it is understood that Liquid is preparing for numerous contingencies, which could include oSee being sidelined alongside Aleks "Rainwaker" Petrov and Robert "Patsi" Isyanov, as first reported by CIS insider Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov.
The mass shakeup to Liquid's core comes after a disappointing period for NA's former best team after making the decision to transition to a European core. With the release of CS2 and a relatively clear schedule, changes are expected to come to the squad.
With cadiaN expected to come into the fold, the former Heroic IGL is also expected to become the primary AWPer. This has put oSee in a tough position, as he has primarily handled the big green gun and is not exactly known for his rifling skills at the top level.
oSee first joined Liquid in 2021 following a stint with Extra Salt and time with Cloud9. At first, the young star struggled to adapt to the demands of Tier 1 Counter-Strike, but slowly adapted and has become a respectable AWPer for the team. It now appears that Liquid is looking for a change in direction, one they will find in cadiaN.
