ESEA moving league structure to FACEIT
ESEA has announced that the ESEA league system will be changing platforms over to FACEIT as the two companies fully synchonize under one product since their acquisition by the PIF-backed Savvy Gaming Group a year and a half ago. The 46th Season is also planned for Mid-August, with registration opening at the beginning of the month. Initially, it was revealed that the league would be delayed until the arrival of Counter-Strike 2.
In a post, ESEA revealed that they believe the FACEIT platform will be significantly better to use for the leagues, has better features to improve the product, and will create a stronger platform for everyone to enjoy.
Those currently subscribed to ESEA will see their subscription transfer over to related FACEIT accounts by July 7th.

Teams in ESL Challenger, Advanced, Main, and Intermediate will have their spots transferred over to FACEIT. More details about this process will be released once registration opens for the next season.
Additionally, ESL FACEIT has decided to use the FACEIT platform for the upcoming season as the program is already prepared to handle Counter-Strike 2, whereas ESEA is not. While Valve has communicated that Counter-Strike 2, will be available this summer, it is unknown if CS:GO will remain playable after that time, if Counter-Strike 2 will be playable on certain platforms, or if there will be an easy mid-summer transition.
