Carpe Diem find their fifth
Carpe Diem have completed their roster with Andrew "Tender" Cote, bringing an end to John "arcade" Rogel's lengthy stand-in period with the team necessary for Carpe Diem to retain their spot in ESL Challenger League Season 47. Tender's addition to Carpe Diem sees the former WITHOUTWARNING player join his first team in some time, having left the previously mentioned squad all the way back in October.
Despite being without a home for some time, Tender has been relatively busy in CS2, having started the year with the Cloud10 mixteam in the PGL Major Copenhagen Americas RMR qualifiers while more recently playing with "For Fun" at launders LAN. Tender made his debut with Carpe Diem last night in ECL as the squad managed to split maps with LAG, with Tender having a strong debut on Nuke as his team won 13-1.
Tender will ideally help Carpe Diem recover from a fraught few months since losing Colby "Walco" Walsh to Party Astronauts. The team currently sit towards the bottom of ECL with a 5-13 record and will need to pick up a few more wins to avoid having to play Relegation.
Carpe Diem are now:
• Sebastian "Seb" Dietrich
• Mason "Lake" Sanderson
• Jerric "wiz" Jiang
• Jack "micro" Ryan
• Andrew "Tender" Cote
• Ashlynn "Valkenn" Brady (Coach)
Tender's next match with Carpe Diem will be tonight when the team takes on Nouns at 09:00PM.
