Voxel Esports announce $5k Flickshot Series Miami 2

Voxel Esports has announced another LAN at the ROK Esports Center in Palmetto Bay, Florida. This iteration of the event features a $5k prize pool and up to sixteen teams. The event, which will run from August 30th to September 1st, will be Voxel's first event in some time, as the previous Flickshot Series was unfortunately canceled back in February.

This previous event was shelved due to only four teams signing up and one later dropping out at the last minute, rendering the tournament untenable to host. With lessons learned, Voxel Esports' owner, Tyler "Techne" Nguyen, told Dust2.us they plan on doing more outreach and advertising to draw teams to the event.

Flickshot Series 2 follows Fragadelphia's event at the ROK Esports Center in April. Nine teams turned out modestly, but NoVum ultimately came out on top.

Currently tickets are yet to go on sale for the event, with Techne saying that plans are to start selling them on Friday May 17th.
