Nouns pick up RUSH to replace CLASIA
Nouns have announced the addition of Party Astronauts player William "RUSH" Wierzba to their ranks, seeing the Major winner replace Anthony "CLASIA" Kearney, whose trial has come to an end after a month with the team. The moves sees RUSH reunite with Nouns after previously working with the team as a mental coach alongside Edward Cleland of MindBodyEsports.
The change to Nouns' starting lineup sees CLASIA's reunion with his former Gaimin Gladiators teammates conclude after a relatively short period of time. During his time with the team CLASIA posted a somewhat muted 1.04 rating over 15 maps while the team as a whole had a 60% winrate.
Adding RUSH into the team's ranks adds a veteran voice to Nouns that the lineup are familiar with, while also adding a supportive element that could potentially help IGL Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly with mid-rounding and tactics. RUSH has also been in strong form since returning to the game in March, ending with time on PA with a 1.11 rating over 38 maps.
On the other end of the equation, RUSH's departure from Party Astronauts puts the team in a bind as they have had a second player poached after losing Colby "Walco" Walsh to NRG in March. They will now need to find a new fifth in short order to help finish ESL S47 and prepare for ESL Challenger Jönköping 2024.
Nouns are now:
-
Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly
-
Christopher "cJ" Jones
-
Paytyn "junior" Johnson
-
Jeorge "Jeorge" Endicott
-
William "RUSH" Wierzba
-
Eric "adreN" Hoag (Coach)
Nouns will debut their new roster tonight in ESL Challenger League Season 47 against Carpe Diem at 09:00PM.
