Update: ANDROID contemplating switch to VALORANT; dazzLe to trial for Ze Pug Godz
Bradley "ANDROID" Fodor took to Twitter in the early hours of the morning to announce that his upcoming matches as a member of Ze Pug Godz at DreamHack Open Summer would be his last. He cited issues in practice within the announcement and also hinted that he could be the next player with tier one CS:GO experience to make the jump to VALORANT.
When contacted by Dust2.us, ANDROID noted that the lineup was having trouble meshing together and that things felt a bit forced, but did not elaborate further. His immediate plans for the future include streaming the new Riot Games FPS and climbing the ranking ladder in pursuit of "Radiant" status. He is confident that he is skilled enough to find his way into a lineup after he acclimates to the new game.
The other members of the Ze Pug Godz roster did not reply to requests for comment, though Dust2.us has learned that the roster has reached out to Will "dazzLe" Loafman about trialing. In anticipation of dazzLe's potential exit, Positive Vibes Only will be trialing Wesley "viz" Harris during the FunSpark ULTI qualifier.
After DreamHack Summer concludes, Ze Pug Godz will consist of:
- Edgar "MarkE" Maldonado
- Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro
- Gage "Infinite" Green
- Austin "Cooper-" Abadir
- Will "dazzLe" Loafman (Trial)
- Ian "Immi" Harding (Coach)
Ze Pug Godz will face Liquid in a best-of-three series to open DreamHack Open Summer at 1PM EDT tomorrow with ANDROID. They will then face Yeah in a best-of-one series at 6:30PM EDT to open the FunSpark ULTI qualifier, though it remains unclear whether they will field ANDROID or dazzLe.
Update: Following publication, Will "dazzLe" Loafman reached out to Dust2.us and stated that he would be playing in both DreamHack Open Summer and the FunSpark ULTI qualifier with Ze Pug Godz and that ANDROID would not be playing in either.
