mousesports going for n0thing at ESL One Cologne; STYKO reportedly benched
According to a report from DBLTAP, Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert is set to stand-in for mousesports a second time at ESL One Cologne, in just over 10 days time. The American will allegedly be taking the place of Martin "STYKO" Styk, who is reportedly being benched by the team.
STYKO has been a part of mousesports for nearly a year after joining last August. He has been a member of the international team during many high points and low points, including their wins at ESG Tour Mykonos 2017, StarLadder & i-League StarSeries Season 4, and V4 Future Sports Festival.
After ESL One Belo Horizonte, it appeared that n0thing enjoyed his time standing in.
Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert famously last played for Cloud9 until he and Michael "shroud" Grzesiek were replaced by Tarik "tarik" Celik and Will "RUSH" Wierzba.
Both players had similar results during their most recent outing in Brazil. STYKO had a rating of 0.94 at ESL One Belo Horizonte, while n0thing sported a 0.95 rating.
If the reports are true, the mousesports roster for ESL One Cologne would look like:
- Chris "chrisJ" de Jong
- Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný
- Robin "ropz" Kool
- Miikka "suNny" Kemppi
- Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert (Stand-in)
- Sergey "lmbt" Bezhanov (Coach)
After Cologne, mousesports are also set to attend the ELEAGUE Premier at the end of July.
